priory. In the early 15th century, the monks began farming Carp in the abbey pool, making Poole Hall one of the oldest
fishing sites in England. The house was then extensively modernised in 1702, into its prominent Queen Anne style.
The moats have since been expanded and offer any ingoing purchaser a huge scope for commercial activity.

There is ample cornicing, ceiling rose and large sash windows which allow ample natural light into the room. To the other side of the entrance hall is the drawing room, which benefits from dual aspects and also has large sash windows, cornicing and a fireplace with a marble surround.
